One of the most valuable gifts of dhamma from Damrivi to the world is our website , “Beyond the Net”.
Beyond the Net is a world renowned website on Theravada Buddhism which has been in existence for over 14 years, since 1997 Vesak . This website is known as a site disseminating Theravada Buddhism as a practical guide to those seriously following the Noble Eightfold Path. It attracts an average hit rate of over 300,000 per month from 97 countries. The site contains both text and audio in Sinhala and English from a number of renowned meditation masters. The sight presents the teachings of Katukurunde Nanananda Maha Thero ( Bhikkhu K Nanananda), Bhikkhu Bodhi and Ven. Uduireeyagama Dhammajeeva Thero (of the Meethirigala Nissaranawanaya Hermitage, Sri Lanka), and lay meditation teachers Mr. Gamini Priyantha and Mr.Mithra Wettimuny. The site is an aid to those seriously treading the Path and to those searching for an alternate religion. All sermons delivered at Damrivi are recorded and presented on this site as audios on a regularly basis.
A large number of Sri Lankan expatriates consider this site their virtual temple away from home. This site also serves to make available the Theravada tradition practiced in Sri Lanka to the rest of the world as living Dhamma. Countless Dhamma seekers use this as a platform to clarify their doubts about Dhamma and also for guidance in meditation.

I just 'arrived' here...
I have been searching for something for many years. It has crossed over into my writing-I was up for Poet of the year again in the USA. After the success of 15 books, I still felt empty. After my father died, I really started wondering where we go after death. It depressed me at the thought of just being burried in cold dirt, as I have always believed in reincarnation, as does my husband.
